Shouldn't priests not have to marry interracial couples?

Alot of people have been going on about gay marriag, and how they shouldn't force a church to marry them if their against it. So what if their against interracial couples, should they be able to deny them too?

No one ever said anything about forcing anybody to do anything. It's just another scare tactic used by those who don't want to see it. They also predict that if it is allowed (gay marriage) that marrying animals won't be far behind.... it's just stupid people saying stupid things to get their agenda passed...





My wifes pastor refused marry us because I was an atheist. And we are a man and woman... Another pastor across town did the ceremony....





As it is, we now force people who love each other not to marry, thereby removing their human rights... How about removing the right of marriage from people who are shorter than 5' tall? Sure it's stupid, but it makes as much sense...Shouldn't priests not have to marry interracial couples?
Well that's just it, they CAN deny performing an interracial marriage if they so wish. They don't simply because churches are businesses just like any other institution, and they realize that if they don't change with the times they will lose followers and so lose business.





Eventually, religion will disintegrate or they will learn to accept homosexual marriages as well.





Technically, neither homosexual or interracial marriage is against the Bible.
Stop advocating race hate, being in an interracial marriage is totally different than being in a gay partnership..





How can you dare to compare the two like as if in someway one race is superior to another, no race is superior to another..





If it were not for interracial couplings the human race would not be as united as it is today..





The human race is one race, remember that..
allowing gay marriage does not in any way force or coerce a priest to perform the ceremony.





nothing to think about here. Clergy has a longstanding tradition of denying marriage to those it does not deem sufficiently worthy for a wide variety of religious reasons.
There's nothing in the Bible condemning interracial marriage or relations, only marrying outside of the faith.
