Why is it that of most '; mixed race'; couples, the woman is almost always White and the man is of another race?

For the exception of people of mixed lineage like Lenny Kravitz ( mother:Black and father :White ( Jewish)), most '; mixed couples'; are consistent of a white woman with a black man?Why is it that of most '; mixed race'; couples, the woman is almost always White and the man is of another race?

Well, I'm white and my wife is Asian. So much for that theory lol.


But why is it important? In this modern age, when we know for fact that all people are equal its not overly important as long as the people in the relationship are happy. I'll never forget traveling with my girlfriend who was black quite a few years ago. We stopped at a Diner in Texas and they refused to serve us food. In the 21st century the focus on race really needs to come to an end.
wow are you conflicted.. open your eyes.. maybe where you live the ladies are white and the men are mixed but where i live its mostly white dudes and ladies of other races.. why does it matter innywho?? i think that people of different races that get together make the most prettiest babies...
I think women are generally just more open to dating outside their own race.
