Is there a problem when couples with different blood types marry?

Absolutely not. Maybe there used to be though. When a woman is pregnant and her and the baby share a different RH factor in their blood type, her body could try to kill the baby by treating it as a foreign object inside her body. Today however, if that happens there is a shot that is given twice during pregnancy called Rhogam. It clears all the problems! Is there a problem when couples with different blood types marry?
You're probably asking this because some states require a blood test prior to applying for a marriage license. The blood test requirement is fairly outdated, and many states have removed it. The reason they required it was to test for syphilis.

There is no problem when couples with different blood types marry. Is there a problem when couples with different blood types marry?
not in general. The only potential problem if they want several children and more than one child has ends up rhesus positive when the mother is rhesus negative. After the first birth the body of the mother will form antibodies against the rhesus factor of the first child, which can be a problem for the second child. These days medical care is good enough that this is not a problem anymore, just something to be aware of.
Ordinarily not.

There are rare instances when the fetus and mother have different RH factors and this leads to miscarriage.
No there isn't.

Genetically any children would be fine if parents had two different blood types.

In fact, its very common
Not unless they're both stranded on a deserted island, and one of the two is in need of a blood transfusion.
no there is no problem except one of them is sickle cell
No problem at all
Not at all.
NOPE
no
