Should Catholic adoption agencies that refuse same-sex couples be forced to change their policies?

No, because we have the freedom of religion in the U.S., and also because there are plenty of non-Catholic adoption agencies. In fact, the Catholic ones are in the minority, so it's easier to find a non-Catholic agency than it is to find a Catholic one.Should Catholic adoption agencies that refuse same-sex couples be forced to change their policies?
Due to their being a religious based organization the answer would be no due to separation of church and state. That separation ends when they are financed with pubic monies. Also as Bash so aptly put it they should be ashamed of themselves with their hate agenda hurting innocent children. But then when the Catholic priest were and likely still are abusing children that too was ok. The agenda of hate put forth by the so called religious right is a true abomination in the eyes of God. Hate is not a ';Christian'; value, but it is a value of the Catholic church!

Nope. But if they are federally funded they should. If they are a strictly private operation, they should be free to make their own rules...but taking our money for their operation expenses makes them subject to our federal and state laws....or SHOULD make them subject to our laws. The Boy Scouts discriminate against gay people ....while also getting a TON of federal money. That SHOULD be illegal. State agencies--foster care--also is currently allowed to discriminate against both gay and single parent adoptions in states where they have 'outlawed' gay and single adoption. In Arkansas alone, this has caused the disruption of 12,000 families....12,000 children removed from their homes because the Christian Family Values Council of Arkansas received a majority vote to ban gay people AND single people from adopting.

3 million children are in foster care awaiting homes. You would think that 'Christians' would support children receiving a loving home and family over bigotry.....well more than half of our foster children never find homes and age out of the system at 18. Their lives are disproportionately more likely to include lower educational levels, poverty, crime, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, cutting, bulimia and anorexia, and suicide. 40% higher rates than children who were adopted by ANY family who loved and wanted them.
Yes, if they are licensed by the state, and all child placing agencies must be licensed! They can refuse to be licensed and quit doing adoptions!
Only if they are sponsored by the government. Though I think it's horrible to deny a child a home and love just because it happens to be two males or two females.
Not if they are a private agency. If they want public funds... they have to abide by the government's policies.
No.

If the parents were Catholic, they would have not wanted same sex adopted parents.
No.

Go see a non catholic agency.
If you think so.
Separation of Church and State, NO
No...
Are you trying to kill God?
No. It is their right as a business
Gross...no!
