I know my friends sister who is 13 has a boyfriend that is 18...five years older than her...i think it is a weird and wrong thing to see...





but when i see married older couple i've seen lots of them that have an age difference of an average of 8 years but it seems ok to me..

Yes it's weird, and it's illegal. You should stop her and the creepy guy from going out. When you're young age differences are a lot more noticeable, but once you get older it doesn't really matter if both of them are consenting adults. 5 years would be fine if they were in their twenties, but they're not. they are in different stages in life, so it is unacceptable. he can vote and go to college, but she's in middle school. that's absurd, and you know it!
its not that age difference is wrong its just when someone is 13 they really are too young and easily influenced. An 18 year old is already considered an adult and could easily manipulate her. Apart from it being illegal. 5 years is really not much of an age difference, it would be perfectly fine for an 18 year old to date a 23 yr old or a 23 yr old to date a 28 yr old, even 30, or older but that's because they are all adults already. But a 13 year old is wrong and says a lot of negative things about this guy.
At the age of 13, yes, I believe it is strange for her to be dating an 18 year old. Not to mention illegal.

No it wouldn't be weired if say she was out of school and she was dating someone 8 years older. but really a 13 year old with a 18 year old? and why would the 18 year old want to date a 13 year old. dont understand that. Anyways I say that the acceptable age difference for me would be 7 years.
