Why are couples cheesy and sit side by side when eating in a restaurant?

I don't think it's cheesy. My hubby and I always sit side by side if the seating space allows for that. We're apart all day while working and even when we're at home after work we're doing our own things. When we go out, it's nice to sit next to one another and talk quietly and enjoy one anothers company. Now as for the footsy players and the public make out folks.......yeah, that's gross and no one wants to see it. Reserve that fro the privacy of your own home.Why are couples cheesy and sit side by side when eating in a restaurant?
It gets worse, really. I had a couple trade 'foot jobs' the other day. It was quite disgusting. Please keep your feet to yourself and not your partners private places while dining. If you think you waiter or waitress wants to come over in the middle of that, you're wrong.Why are couples cheesy and sit side by side when eating in a restaurant?
Because it's fun and exciting. It' s also a way to show off the good looks of your date.





I will agree that it could be a distraction though, especially if they're kissing or whatever.
I've definitely seen worse, some couple have started making out at the table! GROSS. Go home!
