Who can marry couples in the uk at a private venue?

Who all can marry a man and woman at a private venueWho can marry couples in the uk at a private venue?
Check with the local council for that particular venue, if it has a civil license then you can have a civil ceremony there. Other than that, I think the only other option is a humanist ceremony. You can have a humanist ceremony anywhere, but at the moment it is only legally binding in Scotland. In the rest of the UK you would have to get the legal bit done either before or after the 'ceremony' if you catch my drift.

Hope this helps.Who can marry couples in the uk at a private venue?
It has to be someone ordained by the local court system. The registry office will tell you who exactly you can use. You can't have a minister since they are only allowed to perform ceremonies in churches. And you cannot have a friend perform the ceremony since that is only legal in the US.
